A former Chairman of the House of Representatives’ Committee on Appropriation, Mr. Abdulmumin Jibrin, has been summoned by the national executive of the All Progressives Congress.
He is to appear before the leadership of the party at its headquarters in Abuja this afternoon.
The development is a fallout of the growing tension in the House of Representatives over Jibrin’s allegations of budget padding against the leadership of the House as well as an alleged plot to remove the Speaker, Mr. Yakubu Dogara.
